Led Zeppelin/Led Zeppelin bootlegs
Expert: Mike Caldwell - 10/2/2009
Question I have an LP with the simple name Led Zeppelin on it. It has a black border with red to orange background in the middle. It has Led Zeppelin in large bold type on the top with smaller type on the bottom giving the song list.
Immigrant Song
Stairway To Heaven
What Is And Never Should Be
Whole Lotta Love
Minnesota Blues
The Lemon Song
The publisher is International Joker Production. The date on the
cover is 1974. SKU #sm 3721,also available on cassette (if my Italian is Ok) sku# mc 3721. I bought this album in a hardware store if you can believe it,when I was a kid.
Minnesota Blues
AnswerHi
Yes, that's a rather valuable release from Joker, pressed in the early days of Led Zeppelin bootlegs. It was an early mono pressing, which I believe was issued in 1974, though the source material is from the BBC 1971 show (subsequently legally released by the band on the "BBC Sessions" discs a few years ago).
LED ZEPPELIN
JOKER 3721
Recording: Very good mono professional radio recording. Comments: Same as STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (Trade Mark Of Quality TMOQ 73017). Supposed 'legitimate' Italian release. Two different deluxe covers.
A seller auctioned it for around $35 earlier this year:

I think it's worth more than that to interested collectors, so your copy, if in near mint condition, could get something like $60-$65 if auctioned effectively.
An oldie for sure!
