Led Zeppelin/Zeppelin LP

Question
HI Mike.

I have what looks like a rare copy of Led Zeppelin Radio 3AK Kooyong Tennis Courts Melbourne 1972 & Milan 1971 Live LP in Very nice condition probably EX.  I notice a copy actually sold on ebay for over $500 which came as a surprise. Is this a rare LP and is that a legit value?

Thanks as always for your help.

Gregg

Answer
Hi Gregg

The Kooyong release is relatively rare; this, like records from all Australian shows, don't pop up on the market very often.
I saw that auction you mentioned.  The short bidding history looks fishy, with extreme jumps to weird amounts.  Realistically these days, it's a $120 item, which is higher than average for 2LP sets.  The 4 or 5 other times I've seen it sold, the amounts were a bit lower, but your record being in such good condition merits the higher value.

Regards,
Mike
