Question I reside in Alabama. my question is this...my fathers estate was sold by the executor to the executors son. Does this release him as far as being executor since the "estate" no longer exsist? thank you for your time

Generally, an estate is concluded when the probate court indicates it is concluded. An executor or executrix does not relinquish responsibilities until the Court allows the conclusion.
