What was the impact of the Jacksonian era on political participation?

Answer
Hello,

The Jacksonian era saw an expansion of the right to vote. States did away with the property requirement, thus allowing many more people the ability to vote. This allowed for many poorer working class people to get involved in selecting government leaders.
