About Kay
Experience
I am 26-yrs. old with a B.A. in psychology. But more importantly, I know what it's like to grow up not understanding why you feel the way that you do. I slept with men in the past simply because I believed it was "the right thing to do". I would like to reach out to others like me - to help them accept themselves, and feel comfortable around their family and friends if they decide to come out of the closet.

Lesbian Life - in love and confused

Question
Kay,

i met this awesome woman on NYE party 08 in London which was really great as I finally accepted that I am a lesbian.
anyways, my first impression on her is that she's smart and mysterious, and we went on clubbing dates for 6 weeks until I had to return to my home country on the 1st week of Feb 09. We have constant communication through occasional calls and frequent e-mails. Although she doesn't reply if its something sensitive like her recent break-up, and I just want to help her be her once vibrant self again.
We're so far away from each other but there isn't a day that I've not thought of her. I'm getting emotionally depressed as I am appealing for my work permit, which doesn't guarantee my return. I am so in love or maybe smitten with this woman that I don't know what else to do.
It's my first time to meet and fall in love with someone that I have a lot in common with and I know that my feelings will be reciprocated.
thanks

Answer
Hi Cha,

Well it appears that you really like her but you have some barriers. The first one is that you two are not in the same country and it can be difficult having a long term relationship, especially since you guys didn't spend too much time together in London. Also with you not knowing the status of your work permit, there is alot of uncertainty. So, you have to put all of this into consideration. Does she feel the same way about you?
