About Kay
Experience
I am 26-yrs. old with a B.A. in psychology. But more importantly, I know what it's like to grow up not understanding why you feel the way that you do. I slept with men in the past simply because I believed it was "the right thing to do". I would like to reach out to others like me - to help them accept themselves, and feel comfortable around their family and friends if they decide to come out of the closet.

Question
HI. I'm a 19 year old female and I've known since i was in the 5th grade that I liked girls. I just recently came out about it to friends and family, but i'm still not very confident about it and i've only been with two females sexually, including the one i'm currently talking to and have questions about. Well, she is married to a man but told me that she wants to be with me, and it's very much possible since her husband lives on the other side of the country. Well, i really have feelings for her and would love to be with her even tho i don't feel good enough, but she notices that i'm too immature and shy. i want to have enough confidence to know how to be with her, but i just don't know how to bring it out around her. she would do anything for me and i don't want to lose her, but i feel like i've been pushing her away. how do i get over the fact that she's married but still wants to be with me and how do i just be myself around her?!?!

Answer
Hi Cindy,

I cant tell you how to get over her being married. That is something that you are going to have to work on, if you want to be with her. You just have to work on being natural. Nothing is going to feel right if you don't feel right about it.
