Question Jason,
Our Lexus is making a knocking noise when we put it in reverse and when we push on the brakes coming to a stop. It still under warranty with only 35,000 miles and the dealership said that it is normal and all Lexus vehicles do it. I asked him to show another vehicle on the lot that does it and he refused to show me. He said it's normal and it's just caused by the brakes going from cold to hot. I live in Florida and it's warm most everyday, I have many other friends that have Lexus vehicles and they have never had this problem. Any ideas? Thank you for taking the time to look into this. Answer Hello Bob,
This is a typical lexus problem. However, We replaced brake fit kit for it and the noise would go away. Your brake pads actually hitting the calipers when the brake is apply. Free feel to give me a call if you have any further questions.
