Question i would like to get instructions on replacing timing belt and rebiulding power steering pump on a 95 lexus gs 300
Answer the two procedures are to lengthy to include here. to many times I've seen people attempt these same repairs with mixed results. if you are not that experienced with engine repair, i would shop around for the best price and craftsmanship that you would feel comfortable with. when doing this, ask to talk to the tech, and you make a decision on whether hes the one or not. there are plenty of good, honest and hard working techs out there, who will treat you right. if you're up to the task. I would go to the nearest library or book store to get a good descriptive manual on you're vehicle. there is some good ones out there. the power steering pump should be replaced not over hauled. The components that tend to where out inside are a lot of times not available. and if they were, the cost would exceed the cost of a rebuilt unit. its cost affective to use a rebuilt unit. plus it usually comes with a warranty too.
good luck
