Answer I am going to suggest a simple process of beginning your consulting career -
1. make a list of why you consider yourself to be an expert in collection development and library marketing for the Latino community
2. make a list of all of the libraries to which you feel you could travel in your area - you need name of library, email address of director, and a phone number
3. put together a brochure using the list from #1 and also include information on yourself
4. send me the WORD document of your draft of the brochure (kieserman@arcadia.edu)
5. I will take a look at it and make some suggestions
6. once I return it to you, send the brochure to your email list of directors
7. about 2 weeks after you send the email blast, call each director and follow up and see if you can visit the library to talk more about your services as a consultant
