Question Hi, I was wondering if you knew what a "advanced premium deposit fund" is?
My mother found an old policy she had forgotten about. She paid on starting back in the 70's. The company is a life insurance company and has been acquired a couple of times since I guess I'd have to do some research to contact them.

Answer Frankly, this sounds like a company-specific term and not a generally common part of a life insurance policy. It sounds like an accumulation fund of premiums paid in advance of when they are due but that would purely be speculation. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
