Question i would like to get cover for my mother who is 71. she is an amputee and needs 24hr care. her hospital appointments are very far between and i feel that private care would help her both with physiotherapy and a new false leg. can you recommend a reliable company as this is something my sister and would like to do for her to make life a little easier for her.
Answer Mrs. Mills:
If your mother is enrolled in parts A %26 B Medicare the best thing to do is purchase a supplement plan. My recommendation is a Plan F. The Blue Cross Blue Shield in your state will offer such coverage, as do many other companies such as United Health. I prefer BCBS in most cases.
I'm not sure what you mean by, "private care." Please explain further. Also, what state does your mother live in?
Thank you.
