Question
Hello
My father (53 years old) just moved to America, he is a us resident.  about 3 years ago he had a heart attack (in a different country) now he feels good again but I cannot get him an insurance anywhere in the US. do you know where can I get insurance?
Thank you
Michelle

Answer
You will just have to keep trying.  You may be able to get if after it was 5 years ago but it is not promising.  He may never be able to get it.  Thats the problem with health insurance, companies don't want to write a policy that they pretty much figure is a claim waiting to happen.  Not right, but that's the way they do it.  They would love to insure only healthy people if they could.   John.
