Subject: 2000 Sable dash lights

Question
Just bought a used 2000 Sable. I noticed that most of the dash lights lighting uo the tach, speedometer, gas guage etc are out. I haven't had a chance to look up under the dash yet to see what I'm getting into.
Any tips, hints, etc ? Things to avoid ?
Are the replacement bulbs common, or one-off only available at a deadership at outragious prices ?
Thanks for your help, and I hope you and yours have a fantastic Holiday season.

Answer
Thanks Rick, I'm almost ready for Christmas!

It could be a bulb, there are five in the back of the instrument panel. The are in "key" sockets that you turn and it rests inside. These are peanut bulbs readily available at any parts store or Walmart and the likes. I have a drawing of the rear of the panel, but it's a picture file and I will need your e-mail address if you need it. I think if you look this should be easy enough for you.
