the parking gear on automatic transmission will not start my car and when placed in gear the car will roll unless i use the emergencies brakes

Have the shifter cable adjusted!
Answer Hi Margie,
No, do not spray oil on your belts. Have the belt replaced if that's where the noise is coming from. The squeaky belt could also indicate one of the accessories may be bad. Have who ever replacing the belt check to make sure all the accessory pulleys turn freely.
