AnswerHello,
Actually I am an expert in Italian, Latin and Ancient Greek Literature, not in the value of a book from the point of view of its economic value, i.e. its current market value.
Anyway, you can go to the site below where the only one second-hand copy of “Messalina, Roman Temptress” by Maurice Magre (Hardcover), Publisher: Louis Carrier & Co (1929) has a price which starts from $100.88.
http://www.amazon.com/Messalina-Roman-Temptress-Maurice-Magre/dp/B001OL93HK/ref=...
So, I’m sorry, but I cannot help you more.
Best regards,
Maria
