The fictional locale for Winoka was based upon a much older, bigger, and rowdier town than that of the slower-paced and real-life Walnut Grove. Winoka had a hotel (where Charles and Caroline worked and lived with their children), a saloon, a bank, a church and three schools: a public school, a private one and a special school for blind students.

I am able to answer most questions pertaining to the television show and the real Ingalls family life story.

Experience

I have been a huge fan of the television series and the making of the show for many years. I have enjoyed reading and studying how the real Ingalls family lived and how they compare to the family portrayed on t.v. I have also kept up with the stars of the hit show and many guest stars that appeared as well. I also enjoy any trivia that relates to the stars and the show. I have also never been asked a question about "Little House on the Prairie" that I did not know the answer.
