Question I am on social security and make too much for assitance, but am not paying any debt just the bare minmum for survival. I pay rent, electriciy, car payment, insurance, cable, (just the bare basic), etc. After I pay the bare esstentials I have 60 dollars left a month for gas, food, personal products or anything else that pops up. I despretely want to find a part time job to supplement my income but am having no luck. Family is helping a bit but they have thier own finaces to worry about. Do you have any suggestions?
Answer My best suggestions:
1. Look for a less expensive place to live
2. Sell your car and buy a cheap used one
3. Cut out all cable
I know that sounds difficult, but in your situation it may be what is required.
