Question Do you know of a San Antonio, Texas locksmith that can manipulate a Mosler MR402 combo lock. Customer locked door and have no combo
Answer Jerry,
First off, the MR-402 is a manipulation resistive 4 wheel lock. It can be manipulated, but because it is "manipulation resistive" it will not be an easy task.
Second, manipulation is never a "guarantee". When you hire a safe technician to manipulate a lock you are paying for the service not the result.
There are a number of safe companies in the San Antonio area that can open safes, but I don't know of any that would even attempt to manipulate your lock.
Question: What kind of safe is your lock on? Is it a GSA container?
You may want to try the factory combo for this lock. If it is a 4 wheel lock the combo will be one of the two following:
5 times right to the first number (50)
4 times left to the second number (25)
3 times right to the third number (50)
2 times left to the fourth number (25)
1 time right, slowly to stop (around 80)
Also try the combo 25-50-25-50.
If it is actually an MR-302 lock the combo would be:
4 times left to the first number (50)
3 times right to the second number (25)
2 times left to the third number (50)
1 time right, slowly to stop (around 80).
