I have the same vehicle (purchased new). I have periodically had similar problems with the lock, and used a spray lubricant with success.
However, the mechanism that connects the lock to the handle (inside the door) recently broke. After taking the interior panel off, I discovered that most of the mechanism is plastic. So, if you're also experiencing difficulty opening the door, you may have a larger issue than the cylinder.
