Question i have an old SAGA safedeosit box and was given a combo of 3 # but don't know how to do it could you help me
Answer Kim,
Generally the dialing sequence for most of the SAGA safes is:
3 times right to the first number,
2 times left to the second number,
1 time right to the third number - turn handle (or key)
If that doesn't work try reversing the directions.
If you have a three wheel lock, the sequence would be either,
4 times left to the first number,
3 times right to the second number,
2 times left to the third number,
1 time right to stop - if it doesn't stop, redial and put a slight amount of pressure on the handle (or key) while turning the dial, until you find the cam gate. The handle will immediately drop in and the dial would stop. This number would be your final number.
Again, if this doesn't work, try the same sequence but reverse the directions.
If it still doesn't work, you may have the wrong combo. You will need a safe technician to open the safe.
