Locksmithing/armor safe corp

Question
Hi Terry-

I noticed you answered a question about an Armor Safe floor safe. I am wondering if I can get their contact information. We are remodeling a place that used to be an old gas station and found a floor safe under some tile. The serial number was still there on the top foil of the safe along with a logo that is a badge with the words Armor Safe Corporation.
I tried the Armor Safe here in Atlanta, but they said it wasnt them.

Just curious to see if we can get keys for it. It requires two different ones, but you probably already knew that ;-)

Thank you.

Answer
Candy,

Unfortunately, in the security industry, there are a number of names which would equate to "SMITH or JONES".   Using the word "Security" in the name or even "ARMOR" are a couple examples.   These are descriptive terms indicating how "STRONG" your product is, whether you are a safe company or a locksmith.

Also over the years as companies "evolve", their names can change slightly, or they can be acquired by other companies.   In this case Armor has evolved into Armor Safe Technologies.  Rather than making safes any longer, they offer cash handling solutions.   They may not have any of the older files available to help you, but you can try.   Here is their contact information:

Armor Safe Technologies
5916 Stone Creek Drive, Suite 100
The Colony, TX   75056
(800) 487-2766     Tech Support and customer service number
http://www.armorsafe.com/company.html

If they can't help you, you will need a safe technician from a local safe company.   Note:  I never recommend using locksmiths for safe work, as they generally don't have the training, knowledge or tools and can cause excessive damage or charge exhorbant fees.

Hope this helps,

Locksmithing
