Locksmithing/star floor safe

Hopefully this goes right to Terry. When I press down the last #, it forcibly turns dial 2-3 more lines or #s. like 55 to 58, when last # is 55. I think i am not clearing it right in the 1st place. I would like to talk to u directly. Can u give me a phone #? I have a very serious situation at hand here.I feel like I am about ready to go toe to toe with special forces. Please call me to speed this up (208)816-1402    I was in the service, too. If that helps me get my foot in your door quicker.Thank you, Michelle

Hi Michelle,

It definitely sounds like you are NOT doing something right.

I'm assuming that you are talking about the ROUND lift out door,  STAR safes???    If not we have to discuss more - a photo would have helped.

I'm not sure why you are trying to push the dial in at "55 to 58".

The correct dialing sequence is:

4 times left to the first number,
3 times right to the second number,
2 times left to the third number,
1 time right - stopping at zero "0" - push down and continue right to 75.

Note:   Left is counter clockwise, right is clockwise.   DO NOT count the revolutions of the dial, count the individual number as it arrives at the 12 o'clock index mark.   The mark around 2 o'clock is a service index / ignore it.

Note:   "IF" the combination is correct, and "IF" you have dialed it correctly, the dial WILL stay down, when you push it in at "0".
