Answer
Hi Bill,

This company was in business making metal office equipment, filing cabinets, desks and even safes from around 1888 until the 1950's.

If your unit has a UL tag, then it would be from the mid 1920's through the 1950's.

Basically these containers were considered office equipment, with no antique or collectible value.     This container also does NOT meet ANY current standards for fire resistance and it is not a burglary resistive container.
Second problem - this company was a known user of asbestos as an insulation material.   Unless you have it tested to determine whether or not YOUR container contains asbestos, then we have to assume that it does.

Most states have very specific rules and regulations concerning the sale, transportation of, and/or disposal of items containing "HAZMAT" materials.     So at this point, until your container has been determined to either have it or to be clean, it has a negative value - that being the cost for disposal of the container as a HAZMAT item.

Warning:    Ignoring HAZMAT regulations can result in extremely expensive fines and penalties.

Check your states rules and regulations regarding your requirements before proceeding.

After you have determined whether or not it has asbestos - I would need to see the test results, I would be happy to look at your container to evaluate it.
