Question
I would like to know what states in the nation require licensure in the locksmithing profession
Hi,
That would be considered a research question and would require alot of time to answer. Not all states require such, and even if some states don't, local laws within those states may. So, the answers could be VERY vast.
If your asking about a certain state, I may can help, so what state are you refering ?

I will answer all questions in regards to locks and locksmithing. However, PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of our work and my respect for my fellow locksmiths and to the honest public, I will not answer the following types of questions unless you can prove that you are a "Bona Fide" Locksmith: Instructions on how to unlock, bypass, pick or make a key to any type of automobile or lock. I will not discuss methods of safe openings or how to change a safe combo. I will not release the key cuts of any code. If your question is of the above nature and your not a locksmith, my advise to you is to contact a local locksmith in your area.
