About Northstar
Expertise I can answer question about how to stay close to your significant other, despite the distance. I am currently in a long distance relationship, so I've experienced many problems first hand. Whether a person is having a hard time saying good-bye after a visit, dealing with time differences, bothersome siblings, or an overwhelming schedule; I have tips and ideas that will help people work through their problems and keep a level head. I understand that being in a LDR comes with a whole host of unique problems and situations that don't occur in relationships where both parties have easy access to each other. I also understand how easy it is to start playing mind games with yourself, and worrying over the past, present and future. I can answer questions about how to resolve conflict/trust issues, how to stay connected, and keep the spark burning.
Experience I am in a long distance relationship, so I know first hand how difficult and frustrating this arrangement can be. My advice will be two-fold, on the one hand I will be able to provide my insight, and on the other hand, my significant other will be able to provide his point of as well. This means I will better be able to see ANY situation from both a male and female perspective.
Education/Credentials I recently graduated from college with a BA in History

Question I've been in a relationship with this guy for about 7months now. I live in New York he lives in Texas. We have each other emails, myspace and twitter. we exchange numbers. we barly tlk on the internet because we have each other phone numbers. Im kinda glad that we barely don't talk on the internet anymore but all we do is text and text and text and us textin is similar to us sending messages on myspace/twitter. I wish we would talk on the phone more often its been @least 2wks since we really"talk" I know he knows that i would like 2tlk on the phone with him cause i don't really like texting and he knows that but texting is the only way we can commucate lately and i feel 4us 2 have communacation is to hear each other voices and have nice conversations. I'm not sure what my question is but I just need some type of advice
Answer Personally, I do not like texting when it comes to relationships. It's easy to misunderstand what someone says and it's really not that exciting. I can understand why you're not happy with all the texting, and there is a very easy solution. Next time he texts you, just call him up to talk. Or send him a text saying that if he wants to chat he should call you.
If you take matters into your own hands things will be better. Don't keep telling him you want to chat on the phone, simply call him up.
Good luck!
