AnswerDearest Lily,
First of all I would like to tell you not so long ago I too was 14. Eager to learn all there was to being an adult, including sex. However I did decided to wait until 2 weeks prior to my 18th birthday. It is a personal choice but it is also an important one. Lossing your virinity will only happen once, and as much as you feel ready to now, you could feel even more so prepared in a few years when you have come fully out of puberty. Now if you decided that now is the right time for you and you can not be persuaded to think about it or wait then I will say this: It is 100% possible for you to get pregnant if he pulls out due to precum. Precum is pre-ejaculatory semen. It is the fluid that ejaculates from a man before the "Big Bang" Although it is a small amount, you should always use protection because you can still get pregnant and contract STD's from it. Pre-cum may contain sperm from a previous ejaculation, so there is a chance of GETTING PREGNANT! Men don't always know it's going to happen, as they don't always feel it, so there is no way of knowing when to stop it. One of the bigger issues with pre-ejaculate is that it can transmit HIV. Consult a doctor for sex education if you are absolutely sure you want to do this and in the meantime always use condoms, pregnancy is not the worst case scenario, HIV/AIDS is. And someone can be a carrier of many stds and never show any signs or symptoms. USE A CONDOM! And it's probably best prior to sex you see your OBGYN and get on a form of birthcontrol. You can never be too careful, especially at your age. Can you imagine what a baby would do to your life right now? Or more importantly what would happen if you contracted an STD. Lossing ones virginity is a very special thing. My advice dear Lilly is to take a step back and asses the situation. Is it really the time for you? Why the rush? Don't feel like this is going to be a cosmic event! You will feel pain, and have discomfort and spotting to moderate bleeding. Not to mention at your age without your body fully developed it could feel extreemly awkward. Again, if you go through with this, do it somewhere safe, relaxing, and be smart and wear a condom!!!!
