Answer Depending on your body, when your hymen tears you will have light to moderate bleeding. So in comparison to your period, spotting or a light day. I would not recommend using tampons as your vagina area will be tender, however pads and/or panty liners should work fine. Also you should not bleed for very long. Some bleed for an hour, some for a few days, and some people don't bleed at all. So unfortunately it's a hit or miss. If you do bleed though, I'd recommend tossing a pad in your bitches and keep on truck'n. :)
