Question
QUESTION: ok me and my boyfriend decided to have sex.he wasn't a virgin and i was. i don't regret it but now him sore and it kind hurts when i pee.
is that normal??

ANSWER: Hi Christine,

Yep this can be normal to be sore a little bit after sex, although it shouldn't last long (more than a few days) given a lack of lubrication, rough sex, a lack of arousal, etc. So if it persists still after a few days, then I strongly recommend you to go see your gyn/doctor.

Feel free to follow-up,
take care,
Maggie.

QUESTION: do i have have a parent to go with me to the clinic to get checked for stuff?

Answer
Hi again Christine,

Were it me, I'd call the clinic to ask them because the majority age vary depending on where you live. So why not take a few minutes to make a call to the clinic to ask them ? I know here in Canada for example once you reach the age of 14, you have a right to confidentiality and therefore, your parents don't know, unless you want them to, that you've consulted a doctor/gyn and they won't know also about what happen there unless in some rare circumstances (when we are talking for example about situations where your health is or have been in jeopardy which isn't the case here).

Feel free to follow-up,
take care,
Maggie.
