Losing Your Virginity - losing my virginity

Expert: Maggie - 8/1/2007

Question
Is it normal not to bleed when losing your virginity? The first time i had sex there was absolutely no blood. I'm worried that there may be something wrong with me.

Answer
Hi Lee-Ann,

Nope, there isn't anything wrong with you because you haven't bled on first-time sex. Not all women will bleed on it, loosing your virginity doesn't always have to be synonym with bleeding especially when you are really aroused, use enough lube, have a caring partner, all the works... So put your mind at ease.

Feel free to follow-up,
Take care,
Maggie.
