Question
Well the first time me and my boyfriend had sex it felt like he was ripping me apart. i think it's because we did it in the missionary position. but the second and third time hurt too. is that normal?

Answer
Hi Kishelle,

Nope, it's not normal, be it on the first, second, third or 100th time, to ever feel like you're being ripped apart during sex or to experience any big pain. A small discomfort is ok but big pain is not.

I'm wondering if you wanted and were ready to have sex ? Also, did you do lots of foreplay before attempting intercourse in order to make you fully aroused ? Did you use enough lube ? Were you fully relaxed ?(being tensed is often a BIG culprit) Also, did you go at it slowly ? Have you ever been checked by a gyn to make sure nothing is abnormal with you ? These are all questions to ask yourself.

If nothing seem to be the culprit, then I'd suggest you go again see a gyn.

Feel free to follow-up,
Take care,
Maggie.
