Answer Hi Amy,
Bleeding can happen anytime you have sex, be it first time or not. It's not something you can really predict. BUT, by making sure you are really arousd before attempting intercourse, by gonig at it slowly and by using lots of lube, this can decrease your chances of bleeding. Are you doing all those things ?
Also, when bleeding happens it shouldn't be any big amount nor should it lasts more than one day or two.
