Question In the dance scene of The Diet, something happens about 2/3 way around the floor, either Ricky Loses his hat or is knocked off and he gets out of step. Anyone know what happened. I love the dance routine.
Answer i believe what you are referring to is Ricky's (pete) 'pretend shock' at seeing lucy's (sally) very sexy dance routine. at one point, she juts out her hip and it 'accidently' knocks ricky's hat off and he mis-steps briefly, as if she's knocked him off-center. all just part of the dance routine.
i also know that the cuban pete/sally dance was the routine the arnaz's used to show the cbs head honcho's they were worthy of their own television show
