Answer You are correct, Bob Hope was part-owner of the Indians in the 1950's. Lucy ran into him @ Yankee stadium when she was selling him a hotdog. Their conversation (where Lucy was trying to talk him into playing @ Ricky's club) caused Bob Hope to miss a fabulous play on the field.
