Question
1. What is Eternal Happiness and How do I obtain it?
2. How reliable is expert opinion from 0 to 100%?
3. What are all the religious texts?
4. Can you give me a rankings of Gods and practically everything?

Answer
Dear Henry,

This seems similar to question you may have asked recently.  Eternal happiness is reunion with the only true God-- the one who made you, and seeks to redeem you from the sin and death which are already at work in you.  As for religious texts, there are many-- but there is only one set of texts that come from the one true God, and they alone are both inspired and without error... And they are the only religious texts which can be confirmed in actual history.

The Christian Bible is where you will encounter and learn about the one true God.
He has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons and yet one God.  The Holy Scriptures are carried forward by Christ's Church in every age, and that is where you should start.

May God enlighten and enliven you,
+Brad

Expertise

I am happy to field questions regarding Lutheran theology and practice, and it's context within the western catholic tradition. General questions on the Christian faith are also welcome.

Experience

I have served in lay and ordained ministry for over ten years, and am currently a pastor in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. I have worked with several Lutheran communions over the years, and have a particular fondness for dialogue with Christians of other traditions, for the study of Church History, and Patristics. I currently serve a Lutheran congregation in the Pacific Northwest.
