Answer
Dear Henry,

Perhaps you did not intend to send your list of questions to a Lutheran pastor, but since you did, I will take that as an act of divine grace intervening for your benefit.  While Krishna is a Hindu myth, the real and living Christ becons you to Himself.  In Christ alone will you find what you seek, which is the fulfilment of your created design.  In Christ alone you will find the real love of God, spilled out for you on the cross.

The reality is that there is no such thing as a self actualized person.  All of us are lost in our own sin and depravity, and in desperate need for God to save us... The reality of which is demonstrated every day all over the globe, as every human being who is born under the curse of sin and evil, and eventually all of us suffers death.  There is only one true God who made us all-- only one true God who gave Himself to die for us-- and only one true God who grants us eternal life in His name.  This one true God has revealed Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God now and forever.  In Him alone is the peace and salvation you seek-- and His Holy Church numbers somewhere over 2 billion souls today... Plus everyone of His redeemed saints in every age.

If you would like to meet the Risen Christ, the lover and redeemer of your soul, feel free to conact me, or a local pastor who will be happy to help you.

May the grace and peace of Jesus Christ enlighten and enliven you, now and forever,
+Brad

Expertise

I am happy to field questions regarding Lutheran theology and practice, and it's context within the western catholic tradition. General questions on the Christian faith are also welcome.

Experience

I have served in lay and ordained ministry for over ten years, and am currently a pastor in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. I have worked with several Lutheran communions over the years, and have a particular fondness for dialogue with Christians of other traditions, for the study of Church History, and Patristics. I currently serve a Lutheran congregation in the Pacific Northwest.
