Subject: Mash, Radar question

Question
There is an episode were Radar is singing to a little girl. The words said something like daddy still loves you now I'm off to war. Do you now what episode that was and the name of the song he was singing.

Answer
Hi!

As far as I know - and I couldn't find anything to debunk the theory online - the lullaby Radar sings is original to the show. The words are:

"By-low, baby,
By-low, baby,
By-low, baby,
By-low, baby, by,
Daddy still loves you, daddy still loves you,
Daddy still loves you though he's gone to war."

Radar sings it to one of the orphans who bunks down at the 4077th during the Season 4 episode "The Kids."

Thank you for your question!

Lisa.
