AboutCaptain Tuttle Expertise I am an addict for the show, and can say the lines 5 seconds before the actors do. I can identify the season the show was made in by the camera angle of the opening credits and the way the theme music starts. I even conned my way into the Smithsonian exhibit of the set. Yeah, I`m a fan...

Question Hi Captain Tuttle,
First of all, great idea to call yourself Captain Tuttle. Tuttle was a great episode, a very unique idea. lol, if you ever need another name, don't forget Major Murdock (you know, tall, skinny guy, Tuttle's replacement).
Anyway, was wondering if you know much about what bloopers are available for viewing. As I am a HUGE M*A*S*H fan, I know that there are some on utube from season 7, and possibly 6(and a couple of scenes from one of the early seasons with Henry). But I haven't been able to find many bloopers from any of the other episodes- I was wondering if you knew of any.
Another question I have is do you know why the writers of M*A*S*H weren't more careful with the script and character information? There are heaps of bloopers involving the names and numbers of various character's family members. What was the reason for so many crucial errors?
Thanks for your help
Alison
Answer Alison...
When they released the entire series on DVD in the "Martinis and Medicine" collection, they did include a blooper reel, the first time they had gone public with one...
My personal opinion on the continuity blunders? I honestly don't think they ever planned on it going on as long as it did... once they hit Season 5, it stayed pretty solid on the backstory details... once they hit that mark, I think it dawned on them that they were in for a long haul....
