Question HI HELP I HAVE THE GAR BOX ON MY MGB GT WITH OVERDRIVE UNDUN AND READY TO REMOVE BUT NO MATER WHERE I TRIED TO TURN IT IT WONT COME OUT ( CAN I TAKE OF THE OVER DRIVE ASSEMBLY WOULD THIS HELP ?
Answer Hi Ken,
All MGB, GT and Midgets must have the engine removed to get the gearbox out.
Even if you can take the OD off and can get it out, you will not be able to get the OD back on while the trans is in the car.
So just pull the engine, it is not that hard to do.
