Question
Hi.My temp&oil gauge are not working, where sould i start to fix.It has the smith gauges. Thank you Dewayne

Answer
Hi Dewayne,
The oil pressure gauge is hydraulic and a pipe goes to the engine block to monitor oil pressure. You need to check to see if the pipe is clear all the way to the gauge.
The temperature gauge is also a pipe filled with a fluid and sealed. A temp bulb is mounted in the head close to the thermostat. There is no home repair you can do to this gauge if it has failed.
Howard
