Subject: brake lights

Question
I have a 1978 MGB. All of my lights work (Blinkers, headlights, reverse etc.) with the exception of the brake lights.  Any suggestions? If it is just a fuse, where do I change it out? Thank you for your imput.

Answer
Hi Matt,
Since your reverse lights work then it is not the fuse, so you need to first test for power on the green wire at the brake light switch. Then just trace back to the lights if the switch is powered and when the brakes are applied the switch powers up the out put wire.
Howard
