Question
I have a 1979 MGB and I need to buy a battery for it. Can you tell me what kind and size I need? Thank you

Answer
Hi Gillian

In the UK batteries are identified by a 3-digit code.  You need a type 031 like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Exide-Premium-Battery-Type-Guarantee/dp/B006TF10HC

It is a standard 12 volt battery with round posts.

If your local battery stockist requires the actual dimensions, please get back to me.
