         Rang Johon James, he was adamant that  the Tc heat shield does not fit,

         Suggestions please.

The reason it won't fit is because it fouls the TD intake trumpet.  So long as you fit it complete with TC spacers it should be OK with pancake filters.

I attach a photo of a TD fitted with Hemmings filters and my heat shield.  You do need to be a little bit careful that your air filters will clear the radiator stay bar.  Remember, they will stick out another 12mm because of the spacers, so check for clearance.

Buy a kit and try it.  If it doesn't fit I will give you your money back.
