Question
I have a casio CTK 611 I have no trouble recording sounds generated from the keyboard to the computer but can not input midi files from my computer to my Casio CTK 611

Answer
Hi,

You may not be able to transfer midi files to your keyboard simply because your keyboard might not have onboard memory or a sequencer where it stores this midi data. AS long as you don't have that facility, you can just use the computer as a player and the keyboard as a sound module only.

If you do have a keyboard that has this above facility, then you could just take the midi file and put it into the sequencer's memory on the keyboard via USB/DISK..and then play from there.
