Subject: Midi controller as sound module

Question
Is it possible to use my motif 8 as the midi controller in pro tools, while concurrently have the motif 8 sounds as midi instruments in pro tools (in addition to the inbuilt Pro Tools LE sounds) without buying a motif 8 sound module ?

Answer
Hi,

This sounds a bit complicated. I don't know of this, but you could try, you could have the Pro Tools LE sounds on a different port and the motif keyboard on the USB port, and swap the ports inside pro tool's source dialogs...this is just off my head, have not tested this yet...

hth!
