Question How can I get my ensoniq KS32 to transmit data into Cubase SX3? Currently, I am using a Midisport 4x4 and can see the midi ins light fliker when I press a key on the Ensoniq and see the input led in Cubase but I can not hear any sound. I can for instance use the mouse to directly press a drum pad in cubase and hear the drum but I am unable to get a sound when I use the Ensoniq to play the sound. I do not have a copy of the Ensoniq manual and it is hard finding one on the Web.
Hope I have given you enough information to assist me.
Thank you.
Answer Hi Joe,
I don't quite understand what it is you are asking... what "sound" is it that you are expecting to play when you press a key on the keyboard? If you are using a VSTi plug-in, then you will have to set up your sequencer track to the same port as the Ensoniq is connected to, and the same channel as you are transmitting the data on.
Are you able to record MIDI notes onto a MIDI track?
