MIDI and Computer Generated Music - how can i create one song from 2 artist

Expert: jay - 5/13/2009

Question
Hello,

How can i play one song "sweet child O mine" from two different source using just the vocals from one artist (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgfslDm01b4) and just music no vocals from another (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq5jCQK47RM) play at the same tempo, key, and converted into MP3. I have an audio editor but can not figure out how to do this.

Thank you for you time.

Answer
You need to convert both songs to the same key and tempo in an audio editor such as Sound Forge, then mix them together in a sequencer such as Sonar, Cubase, Pro Tools, etc. (Though all these functions can be done completly within these DAWs as well). What audio editor are you using?
