Question i have an asr10 and mpc 3000. how do i link them together and start to make a beat.
Answer Buy two MIDI cables (your nearest music store) and connect the MIDI OUT of the ASR10 to the MIDI IN of the MPC3000. Then connect the MIDI IN of the ASR10 to the MPC3000. Set the MPC3000 to receive MIDI on all channels... playing the ASR10 should now trigger sounds on the MPC3000... and you can record these on the MPC3000.
To make a beat... tap the keys in a regular pattern.
