MIDI and Computer Generated Music - using korg N364 as controller

Expert: jay - 5/17/2009

Question
I never really got the hang of using my korg and now that i have logic, I'd like to use it as a controller to play the sounds in logic, but i don't know what to do. I would also loke to used the sounds in the korg in the future. Thanks

Answer
You will need to buy a USB/MIDI converter and connect the KORG to it using 2 MIDI cables. Connect the AUDIO OUT of the Korg to a mixer or directly to your monitor speakers. If you buy a MIDI+AUDIO interface, you can mix the sounds from Logic, with the sounds from the KORG and use Logic to record and play MIDI and Audio. Check M-Audio for good quality, affordable interfaces.
