Question
I was wondering would you please explain to me: what is a Mac OS X server?

(P.S would you please try to give your answer in a easy way that I can understand)
Thanks

Answer
Sorry I have not answered this, I just received an email notification this morning. MacOSX server is basically a piece of dedicated hardware running for the purpose of sharing information, services, or computational power. Not sure what exactly sure what you are wanting to know as far as specifics. Please follow up with a less generalized question and I will do my best to answer your question better.

Was a MacOS sys/network Admin for about 5(5 Mac, 7 Windows) years...gears more towards linux and windows at this point, but I am confident I can help in various areas of Mac/Apple networking from localtalk to the newest standards. Deal with more enterprise integration of Macs on PC networks/domains. Can help with iPhone settings in any area(hopefully!)
