QUESTION: the tv is not network capable. Can you give specific examples of products that I can use?

Answer
Wow, I never received an email about this question so I apologize. One place to start looking is at appleTV. I believe the newer versions let you achieve this. Also there is the buffalo link theater that does the same. Not sure as far as mac compatibility. Here is a good link, albeit a few years old, that gives you some other options:

Was a MacOS sys/network Admin for about 5(5 Mac, 7 Windows) years...gears more towards linux and windows at this point, but I am confident I can help in various areas of Mac/Apple networking from localtalk to the newest standards. Deal with more enterprise integration of Macs on PC networks/domains. Can help with iPhone settings in any area(hopefully!)
